James Maxfield

Summary:

James is in his second year with Max5 and lives in Twickenham and he is the Chairman and Director of MKG3000 Mazda dealerships. He has managed to gain sponsorship from MKG3000 http://www.mkg3000.com, Mazda Credit http://www.mazda.co.uk, and Kaiya - International vocalist http://www.kaiya.biz

James started racing Karts and was in the British Kart Racing Team from 1962 to 1972 and twice finished 5th in the Class 1 Super Kart Championships making the change to MX5's last year when he completed all rounds except Mallory Park.

Prior to racing last year he had not done any track days or raced on any circuits therefore had a steep learining curve having not onlt to learn the circuit but how the car handled. At the end of the season he had made steady improvement normally finishing in 15th to 20th place.

When not racing James enjoys Sailing, skiing and other Motor Racing.

Kaiya, James wife, sings with The Sounds of Boney M throughout Europe.
