Track Day Donington Park

A driver training day was held at Donington Park on 11/03/2007 where first timers were introduced to the techniques of track driving and existing racers received more focussed tuition.

MX5s on track days always prove something clear ... in standard form a well driven MX5 can lap a lot quicker than you might think. So, when you add a few mods such as AVO or Spax adjustable suspension, Toyo T1-R tyres and Mintex brake pads it's possible to shame much more exotic machinery as you pass it out of the corners. That said, the determining factor is always the nut behind the wheel! ... take some training and find out.
